Roller Coasters of the World

Roller coasters have been being made from all shapes and sizes all around the world for the past 100 years. The first roller coaster recorded was called Thompson's switchback railway (right) which was completed in 1884, located in Coney Island, started the modern day thrill rides we have today.
Modern Day Roller Coasters

Today, there is a significantly higher amount of steel or modern day thrill rides all around the world. Every year there are hundreds of new roller coasters put up all around the country, all different colors and sizes. To the right is a ride called Goliath, located in Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.
